Sensei Snow is the head instructor of the FKA.
He received black belt certification in 1993 from the Isshin-Ryu World Karate
Association. He is currently Go-Dan, or 5th degree black belt in Isshin-Ryu
Karate. Sensei Snow has studied martial arts for 16 years. He is the former
program director for the Eastman Kodak Company Saturday karate program, and was
the principal instructor for the Kodak noon-hour program, as well as a research
scientist for Eastman Kodak Company for 30 years. He is known among the
community as a consummate teacher. He is also an inspiration to many, for he
survived total paralysis from polio at age five and strove to become a top
athlete in football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, as well as martial
arts.
